Chef Joe Merolli

A New York native, Chef Joe Merolli brings 30 years of cooking experience to The Old Farm Truck Market. As a graduate of The French Culinary Institute in NY, he has had the opportunity to cook for some of New York’s finest restaurants, including Le Bernardin.

His role at Farm Truck is to create seasonal dishes using excess produce, meats and dairy from market. The result is an ever-changing weekly offering of amazing “Farm Food”. Customer favorites include homemade soups made from rich stocks and fresh vegetables, homemade pasta using local eggs, meat hand pies, grain veggie bowls, and artisan vegetarian pizzas.

The symbiotic relationship between our kitchen and market promotes a No Waste Policy that ensures sustainability.
